TOASTMASTERS INTERNATIONAL CLUB

Speech contests:  Speech contests are a big part of Toastmasters International. Members compete at the club, area, and district levels. Winners at the district level proceed to region quarterfinals and have a chance to win the semifinals to go on to the World Championship of Public Speaking. There are six contest types: International, Humorous, Evaluation, Tall Tales, Table Topics, and Video Speech. Club Awards Celebrations: At the end of every year, clubs celebrate their members’ accomplishments. Certificates and recognition are distributed to members who have earned the most votes for best speech, best table topics, and best evaluator. Members can also be recognized by leadership for participation, enthusiasm, etc. Details for upcoming club celebrations will be posted here.
